Our deluxe two and three bedroom cottages with double or single beds, can accommodate up to four or eight people. Each of our comfortable Deluxe cottages are attractive, clean and located far apart along the shoreline on twenty acres to ensure spectacular views and privacy.
Whether you are looking for a place to relax with the family, a great fishing spot, or a summer vacation our cottages will leave you in a comfortable relaxing setting.
All cottages overlook beautiful Lake Nipissing and are set far apart to ensure guest’s privacy. You will enjoy our modern conveniences that include: heating, hot and cold running water, three piece bathrooms, fridges, stove, hair dryers, microwaves, automatic coffee makers, dishwasher, flat screen TV, WIFi, and clock radios.
Cottages have screened-in porches and sun decks, for those relaxing moments watching the sunset filter through the boughs of the tall majestic pines. Our Northern environment provides many enjoyable activities. Whether it’s admiring the scenic landscape (a photographer’s dream!) or listening to the call of the Loon, one that has captivated people’s imagination for centuries.
Family Recreation
Tom Rae Lodge has what you and your family want in a vacation! We are a family oriented facility with fishing boats and motors, paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, and SUP’s. Children’s activity play area, park with outdoor games, and volleyball court, giving mom and dad a chance to rest and sunbathe around the pool and watch the little ones play.
Enjoy our recreation hall, and inground heated pool and whirlpool by the huge pavilion. Pavilion has a comfy lounge area, ping pong and soccer table. Tom Rae Lodge has fun for the entire family and lots of activities for your vacation getaway.
On top of our wonderful family facilities our surrounding area has many popular “must see” attractions. From The Polar Bear Express excursions, Santa’s Village, Science North’s science centre, Chief Commanda, walking trails like the Cranberry marsh and Duchbesnay Falls trail plus the popular Dionne Quints Museum to name a few. North Bay’s waterfront with pier and restaurant is a great day trip.
Hunting & Fishing Trips
Tom Rae Lodge offers you the best of fishing on lake Nipissing South Bays!
Fishing packages are available for Northern Pike, Bass, Musky, Perch, Walleye, Panfish, and others. Hunting packages are available for Duck, Grouse, and Pheasant.

Boats include a 16′ fishing boat and electric start motor, 2-3 swivel seats per boat, full platform floors, raised drivers seat, oars, anchor, bilge pump. Seat Cushions – One per person with our boat/motor.
Motors – 15-25 h.p., all very well maintained and dependable. ATTENTION!: Must Bring Approved Life Jacket.
Docking – 15 available boats slips. Electric hookup available. Main dock with night lights.
